In addition to meeting the basic requirements to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Experience for the GS-11 level position:
To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as conducting and/or reviewing wetland delineations utilizing the Corps of Engineer' North Central and Northeast Regional Supplement of the 1987 delineation manual. OR Education Substitution for the GS-11 level position:
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of Education and
Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09). Physical Demands:
The work requires regular and recurring physical exertion related to field work during all seasons of the year and in all weather conditions, such as:
hiking long distances through rough terrain, repeated digging of soil pits, frequently stooping to sample vegetation, climbing steep inclines, and jumping over obstructions. Work Environment:
Work is performed throughout the year both in the office and in the field. The field work involves regular and recurrent exposure to rough terrain, adverse weather conditions and/or situations in which one is exposed to heavy earth moving equipment or unimproved roads that must be traversed. Such work environments may also involve exposure to unfavorable conditions such as dangerous chemicals, noise, fumes, and contaminated water and require use of protective equipment such as hard hats, protective shoes, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
